Reflection of the end of the year 2013

Ecclesiastes 7

4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning , but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth .

2 It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting: for that is
the end of all men , and the living will lay it to heart .


         Today I was at a funeral , where a family lost her husband , son, brother murdered .

         Sadness , pain, suffering the loss , but a certainty lived in the redemption of the Complete Works of our Savior Jesus !

         We live in times of celebration, where the majority does not reflect on the purpose of Jesus' birth .

         How foolish they sink lower in their distance from the LORD, a false joy, in the futility of carousing , drunkenness and all manner of excesses .

          Do not think of the majesty of the fact that Jesus is Immanuel, which means God with us ( Matthew 1:23 ) . He parted with his Glory to be in the middle of fallen humanity , totally separated from Him by sin .

         Jesus was not born in Bethlehem just a boy , He was born as Simeon says in Luke 2:34 , He was born for the fall and rising of many in Israel and to be spoken against . And to be Savior and salvation of believers :

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation ,
31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples ;
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel .

         He died to allow those who believe in Him forgiveness of sins and communion with God.
        
         Only Faith and Faith alone in Christ we become sons of God by adoption ( Galatians 4.5, Romans 8:15 , John 1:12 ) .

John 1

12 Yet to all who received him, who believed in his name , he gave power to become children of God ;
13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God .

         Jesus is the Only Way to reconciliation with God .

         Do not end this year and did not start the new year without receiving Him in your heart as your Lord and your Savior . My prayer to the Lord is that you do not finish reading this text without doing this .

         I advise everyone to read this short text you retire for a few moments of agitation and apply the reflection on your life and what you have done about True Life which is the Lord Jesus - John 14:6 .

         Read the Bible this holiday season , start with the Gospel of John and read also Isaiah Chapter 42 , Chapter 43 , Chapter 49 , Chapter 50 , Chapter 52 verses 13-15 , Chapter 53 , Chapter 55.6-11 . In the Gospels you will find out who speak these passages from Isaiah .

         I close with the question and the most important answer of our lives and we should apply our hearts :

Acts 16.30b Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved , and thy house .
